Psychotherapy/Counseling
You also have the option to begin counseling, regardless of whether you start medication or not. I am willing to meet with you for counseling provided that we both have the shared belief that I can help you.
Suggestions for selecting me or someone else as a counselor:
You believe he/she can help you.
You trust his/her opinion.
You feel safe, secure, and comfortable with him/her.
If your gut feeling tells you "no" after meeting with any therapist, then consider meeting with another therapist. If you do not know why it does not feel right, trust your intuition.
If I believe that am not the best counselor for you, I will help you find another counselor.
